The Artist's Story
Laura Benson the artist of BENSON ORIGINALS Fine Art, is a Jersey girl that chose to relocate to Maryland almost 30 years ago. She is a mother and grandmother of two. With no formal training she has been creating ever since she was a small child. Creating in almost all mediums, oils, acrylics, pastels, pencil, charcoal, pen & ink, watercolors, clay and jewelry. Laura’s works are born from her heartfelt feelings, thoughts and emotions. She also finds inspiration from the observation of society and all that is going on in one’s day. From this deep innerness she is able to create a visual an original work of art to be seen and felt by others. Laura’s childhood dream was to one day make a difference and be able to always give back to others.
